[Current Music |cibo matto]

So here is the deal. Monday they found my car in parma at some apartments parking lot and was it towed away. They said my car was being used to get other people to other cars to steal, like the ringleader kinda deal. I am waiting to hear back from my local insurance company branch as to whether or not they will cover any of the damages done and up to how much if they do cover anything. On the phone it sounded like it would cover me, but then again I only have the minimum.

So here's the most unfair part: someone stole my car and I, I, I have to pay all this money to get it out of the tow place. ME. I have to pay for someone else being a god damn thief. So not only did they damage my car, now I have to pay to get it back. Nobody could tell me over thephone if it was damaged. Or if I am covered. Why can't anyone tell me any of these simple things?? They had better cover me! I do NOT have $200 laying around so I can lock my door again. Not to mention the hotwire damage. It could be wrecked and they wouldn't be able to tell me over the phone. I can't even find my title to get it out of towing. It's not where I thought it was so maybe it's in the car. Though I doubt it, I know very well you don't kepp that in the car. Grr and poo on everything.

[Current Music |MADONNA]

I've been listening to my whole collection of music for awhile now to pick out my fav stuff and I recently came to the Madonna section and I must say that Madonna is fabulous!

FAB-U-LOUS!

These songs have been bringing all these memories back from when I was younger. One day I realized that I absolutely loved Madonna, I was like 12 or 13 or 14... and just as soon as I had said that it became like Madonna mania in the world and I could divulge into madonna mania.
I remember Mtv did a whole weekend of nothing but Madonna, for like 48 hours straight, no joke, it was all M vids and interviews and live performances - everything. I would sit down in front of the tv at the appropriate times for the Joan Rivers show just to hear some tidbit about M and her life, sometimes it was M being seen at the latest lesbian bar or are M and gal pal X hooking up? etc. The there was listening to every word of my fav songs and writing down all the lyrics so I could practice singing along.

As I listen to all these songs I remember the video for each freaking song!
Like a prayer -burning crosses, tears of blood and soulful black women
express yourself - mens clothing and dancing naked behind a screen with only her silhouette, shots of M chained up in bed naked
open your heart - shots cut between M doing a strip show and a little boy running around = creepy
papa don't preach - rebelious pregnant teen and fat balding father throwing beer cans (that's how i remember him anyhow)
vogue - hello! and there was that live performance where she was dressed up all victorian like...
rain - the new do and a wet Madonna

Then there's all the songs i would blast while pressing my face up against the speakers trying to match her vocals. Madonna is how I learned anything about singing! My parents would leave and I would relish in Rain and Rescue Me!
Into The Groove was like a bittersweet emotional angsty relationship that made me feel so happy at times and then so upset at others.
And one time i was watching those 80's movies that USA would always play (how about UP ALL NIGHT WITH RHONDA!(and her HUGE jugs!) about wrestling and the kids go into a club and who is performing?! MADONNA! Crazy For You!

I had this massive attraction to all things Madonna.

Just so you know.

Old school Janet was great too, pre-janet. before she got all hot.
No my first name aint baby it's janet, miss jackson if you're nasty.
I always wanted to do my own take on that - no my first name ain't amy, it's lil a, lil a gets nasty!

Still no word from anyone about my car, but from the sound of it the thief prolly went joyriding in my car (seeing as how there was nothing of value in my car, not even a cd player, only a portable and BURNED cds, which were all backups (thank god!) and it will probably be worthless by the time it is found.

I'm clinging to the hope that my insurance will cover SOMETHING so I can start saving for a new car. I only have the minimum coverage and I am hearing different things from everyone, from I'll probably not get very much if anything to they will pay for it all. So who knows. Somebody is going pay, whether it be the fucker that stole from me or the insurance that I have been paying monthly for, for more than the last year or the god damned apartment building managers with their lack of security and incompetent workers that may have left the god damned garage door open for this to even happen. The first and only good car that I ever had and absolutely loved with it's sportyness and sunroof and in fabulous condition.

The only way I can save is to put aside my would be parking spot and insurance money, which is only $100 a month. The blue book price on my car is averages at about $3,000-$4,000 which is more money than i can ever save or even make payments on. I am so poor I can't even afford to make payments.

That fucker is going to pay.

Saw the organ last night, it was amazing just how bored they looked. It's also amazing that the guitarist was able to play almost everything with her eyes shut 95% of the time without making one facial movement. Which is how I'd be. The best lines of the night from De:
"Did they just play this song?"
and
"Turn around and look, everyone is really old."
They opened for the wedding present which is this mid 80's brit band so all the people there were like scenesters of the time, now balding and beardy. With HUGE glasses. Like those really computer geeky looking ones from the 80's. I wanted to compliment the guitarist, but when I was next to her I lost my nerve because she looked so mean and angry. But de says "we always look mean and angry and we're not, it's just how we look so I bet that's how she is."

I got a cute shirt that looks like the type that the singer would wear.

So I am making a summer mix cd and it's ending up sounding like a freaking stay at home in bed during the cold winter months mix. Like to anyone else it'd sound that way, but to me it makes me happy and feel that way I think summer is supposed to feel.
gossip - arkansas heat, want it to write
helium - hole in the ground
julie doiron - sweeter, best thing for me
kristin hersh - me and my charms (reg, and acoustic)
ladytron - the way that i found you
lois - evening in paris
a million mirah songs like - make it hot, 100 knives, advisory committee, sweepstake prize, murphy bed, telephone wires
PGMG - speakers push air

and it's so not done yet. There are softies songs that have to be on it. Along with others.

I love how on the O.C. they keep play Mazzy Star's into dust.

I just don't know what to do with the day! I am off and have so many options but doing one will end up being the only thing i do. I could play Everquest II and then before I know it, it will be 10:00. Or I could watch the O.C. (i am secretly addicted to teen drama shows!) and then before I know it, it will be midnight and I will have finished the first season! Or I could work on music with Fruity Loops and since I am still learning, I will work on one song and it wouldn't even be done tonight.

I undertook covering Berlin's song "the metro" on it (FL)and finished the music in 16 hours split into 2 sittings, it was crazy. It was my first real music making using FL and it really helped me to learn. All I need to do today is put in the vocals for a demo, because Shasta
http://www.myspace.com/theogpantycomplex

is going to sing it with me and then I will post in on my myspace page, this one:
http://www.myspace.com/amykasio

I have been trying to rotate my songs for variety, I think i will update them today.
I can't remeber if I mentioned it but I put up my acoustic stuff and it can be found here:
http://www.myspace.com/distracted which I am also rotating mp3's on.

I recently made the music for for "nothing but a g thang" so that argyle miss
http://www.myspace.com/argylemiss (check out "go to town")

and xtian http://www.myspace.com/littlegayxtian )could cover it. They did they vocals the other night and it's very good! xtian does especially well with snoop's part! De still has some mixing to do though before it's totally done. That and I can;t find a sound that sounds like the "wow wow" part. It's empty without it!

I can't wait to go to Chicago! It's going to be so fun seeing Xtian and Melodie. I just want to drive to his house and pick him up and put him in my pocket and keep him there where ever I go so I can pull him out whenever I want him!

I need to get back into learning Spanish, it's so easy, especially with knowing french, a lot of the words are the same and the grammer rules ideas are similar. I was going really good until I went on my $130 spending spree at half price books. One of the books I got was "We the Living" by Ayn Rand and I ended up really getting into it and that got me into another Ayn Rand kick and I had to pull out "Atlas Shrugged" and read it again. To my life that book is the equivilent of the bible to christians.
I also picked up Sarte's "Nausea" and in my search for this Dostoevsky book that I wanted to read but didn't know the name, only the cover and a small summary I bought "Crime and Punishment" to later find out it was actually Oscar Wilde's "Dorian Gray" that I wanted!! I still want to read the Dostevesky book, though. Everything has slipped down a notch so I can read "Atlas Shrugged" again. I was also reading the book "Mysterious Skin" because Greg Araki is making it into a movie, or rather has, and it comes out next month!

I am officially mad at De for being on my hotornot profile and clicking on a 40 year old guy from around here (total accident!) who happens to be a COP and selecting the box that says "i want to meet you". To which he has now emailed me back wanting to talk sometime. >:>:>:>:
